If you need non-emergency assistance we will put up information from community action groups on this page as it becomes available. If you need emergency assistance please call 911.

All volunteers and volunteer organizations should be familiar with CDC and VT Department of Health guidelines for volunteers. Please read the ‘Communities’ tab on the VT Department of Health COVID-19 Page and the Vermont Emergency Management page. Chief among the guidelines is advice on how to help your neighbors and minimize the chances of infecting each other: Maintain social distancing, avoid entering a recipient’s home, wash your hands regularly, do not participate in volunteer efforts if you are sick or may be sick, keep track of your contacts, and wear clean gloves if you are handling items that may be given to individuals with weakened immune systems.
