The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for recording, preserving and restoration of documents that pertain to land and property in Johnson. Johnson's land records date back to 1792 and are available to the public for research.
The Town of Johnson contracts with Avenu Insights to provide a digital land record system. You can access our online records with the Land Records link below. There is no fee to search and view our online records. Fees to print from the online system are $3.00 per page. For support using this program contact Avenu Insights at grm.usa.uslr.support@avenuinsights.com.
NOTICE: The Johnson Town Land Records from 1792 to 1981 will be offsite during the months of September and October for computerized scanning. Digitization will protect and preserve our records in the event of a disaster. During this time period, we will still have access to copies of records. You will be able to request the document that you need, and we will be able to respond to that request within 48 hours.
