Dog's Head Falls

Located in Johnson, Vermont, is a captivating 6-foot waterfall along the Lamoille River. The falls are named for a distinctive rock formation resembling a dog's head, visible just below the cascade. Visitors can reach the falls via a short, easy hike from a pull-off on East River Road, making it accessible for most.

Prospect Rock via Long Trail

This moderate 2.8-mile round-trip hike offers approximately 540 feet of elevation gain. Starting from the Long Trail parking area near the Lamoille River, hikers will pass unique rock features before reaching Prospect Rock, which provides sweeping views of the Lamoille River Valley. ​

Laraway Lookout
