Town of Johnson Property Inspections – October 2025
Inspection Dates: The Assessors for the Town of Johnson will be performing preliminary property inspections for the 2026 Grand List through the month of October 2025. The inspection dates will be updated at the Town Office. These inspections are performed to start gathering data for next year’s Grand List and typically do not have an impact on the 2025 Grand List/Current Tax Bill. Final property inspections will be performed in March/April 2026.
Identification: The Assessors will be driving a vehicle with a “Town of Johnson Official Business” magnet and will be carrying businesses cards and/or other identification. A door card will be left at properties that are visited if no answer is received.
Notice to Property Owners: Property owners that have a valuation change will receive a notice via USPS in Spring 2026 with additional information, including the reason for change and the hearing appeal date.
