The Town and the Village of Johnson have just purchased 36 flags to be flown on our streets — 16 on Main Street, 3 on School Street, 4 on Railroad Street, 3 on Stearns Street, and 2 on Pearl Street. They are banner type flags and will fly from Memorial Day until the end of November. They have also purchased a plaque that will hang in the Town Clerk's Office. The plaque will be inscribed as follows:

We would like you, the people of Johnson and anyone else, to buy into this program to keep our flags proudly displayed. To accomplish this we purpose the following:

We are asking for a contribution of $25 which in turn gives you an engraved tag of your choice. The engraved tag would appear in one of three ways.
