The Library Trustees serve a crucial role in making our local library an active and essential center of our community. Trustee responsibilities typically include setting library policies, evaluating the library director, long range planning in cooperation with the director, financial management, promoting library use, and serving as a link with the community. Currently the Johnson Public Library is faced with some maintenance and repair concerns and candidates who have a background in building maintenance are encouraged to apply.
