This years Annual Report is dedicated to Harlan Lumbra.
Harlan and his family moved to Johnson from Enosburg in the mid 1950's. Most of us remember Harlan as proprietor of the Mobil Station and later, as the school bus driver (Harlan for many years had the Johnson School District Busing Contract). Harlan's lifetime experiences have made it possible for him to be an effective municipal administrator, first as a Town Selectman and then Village Trustee, of which he was Chairman for many years. His knowledge of construction and mechanics, in addition to that of our Village systems have proven to be invaluable assets to the community. The Village owes a great debt of gratitude to Harlan and we look forward to his continued public service. Harlan worked very hard on the Wastewater Treatment Facility and now that it's complete, he has more time to enjoy his other passion ... fishing! Thanks, Harlan
