BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS

The Normal School Building is situated in the heart of the village of Johnson on the main street. The building is old, but has been remodeled several times and is in an excellent state of repair. While not large or imposing, it is homelike and attractive and all who enter it are charmed by its pleasant interior.

THE DORMITORY

The New Dormitory, which accommodates twenty-four was opened March 3, 1913. The building is beautifully situated near the Training School, well built, and modern in every respect, while the furnishings and appointments are all that one could wish. Each of the twelve rooms are entirely furnished ready for occupancy. An excellent tennis court and a croquet ground provide unexcelled opportunities for vigorous physical exercise in the open air while the opportunities for mountain climbing, sugar parties, snow shoeing, and picnics are almost unlimited.

THE TRAINING SCHOOL

The Training School consists of the entire Graded School of the village of Johnson, to which many pupils are transported from outside districts. The school is housed in a modern ten room building and has three additional rooms for recitation purposes. The building is beautifully situated on an eminence near the Normal Dormitory and overlooks the village of Johnson.
