POWER HOUSE BRIDGE

After a recent snow fall of over 2 feet of snow the old Power House Covered Bridge could not take the extra load. The deck was supported by steel beams installed a few years back and is still in tack, however the roof collapsed and fell along with the walls into the Gihon River.
The good news and most importantly, nobody was hurt. At this time our main priority is:

1. Pull the debrie from the river and save it
2. Inspect the bridge and install some type of guard rail so traffic may resume
3. After the snow has melted evaluate and assess the situation and what our options may be.

A silver liner is Senator Jefford's office has contacted us and wants to help ($$) re-build the structure

Will keep all posted as we know more
