POWER HOUSE COMMUNITY WORK DAY

JUNE 22, 2002

Si Jones's question was:
What would you like me to do?

Carl, Daryl, and Floyd measure up what needs to be done for those finishing touches.

Teams of workers started forming up, even Representative Mark Woodward contributed, seen below about to be hit in the head by Walter.

And then a community came together to do their part, including the youngest of them all who were all given the opportunity to place some nails.

Selectman Howard Romero and Select Board Chair Eric Osgood place the original sign with the attached boards retrieved from the original bridge.

Representative Mark Woodward and Senator Susan Bartlett place the gold plated nails to declare the Power House Bridge completed.

A special thanks to all the people who served on the Power House Bridge committee, Mike Patch who organized this work day, and Daryl West Chairman of the committee.
