The award as presented to the Town and Village of Johnson. The Town will buy out the land currently owned by Cubb's and within the flood zone. The Village will place a sewage line across the Lamoille River from River St. to the current site of Cubb Property, and build a pumping station. Ken Harvey will be the private investor, moving all the residents from the flood zone, building up pads for ones currently not in the flood zone, building the infrastructure for a displaced park. Total cost of project is projected at 1.1 million dollars, the Town and Village share is the flood mitigation award amount, Mr. Harvey will supply the balance.
