CHARLES "CHUCK" HOAG
7/28/1928 - 1/12/2001

Chuck Hoag was born in Rutland, Vermont and moved to Johnson in 1955. He operated several businesses, most notably the Lamoille Ambulance Service, which has developed and grown over the last thirty years. Chuck was also instrumental in starting EMT training courses in this area. He served the Town for many years as Health Officer, and recently donated a sizable sum of money for a skateboard park.

Chuck was a friendly man who radiated warmth and good humor. People who met him on the street, in the store, or at the post office will remember his tuneful whistling and cheerful greetings. He will be missed.
