Planning Commission

Mission Statement
The Johnson Planning Commission (JPC) facilitates long-range planning and vision for the Town and Village of Johnson to promote economic development and opportunity, and improve our quality of life, resiliency, and sustainability. 

Philosophy
The JPC is committed to open and respectful discussion, to fair and equitable deliberation and decision making, and to full transparency.  We encourage public participation and support the Town of Johnson’s Inclusivity and Antiracism statements.

Governance
The JPC consists of nine members who are appointed by, tasked by, and report to the Town of Johnson SelectBoard.

Meetings
The Johnson Planning Commission meets in-person on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM and the Johnson Municipal Building.
